Maxine is an adorable little girl, with a darling personality.
She’s not your typical Jack Russell/Boston Terrier mix, as she’s rather low-key and calm. Maxine is the first one in bed at night, and the last out in the morning, savoring snuggle time before starting her day. She’s quite mature for her young age, and is trusted to be a good girl when she and her foster siblings are alone in the house for a bit.
Maxine bonds very quickly, and lavishes her humans with kisses every chance she gets. She’s a laid back, mellow girl, who is easily trained with rewards of praise and/or treats. But, when her switch is “on”, she’s up for a jog, a nice, long walk, or her summer favorite activity- playing in the hose. She is, after all, still a terrier, needing stimulation and exercise to keep her happy and fit.
She’s very athletic, and strong, and would be great at agility. This little girl loves napping in the sun, and adding a tummy rub makes for a perfect day for her. She seems to enjoy being around children, and is currently living with two Jack Russell foster sisters. Maxine is currently in foster care, and is not at the shelter.
Please contact Lydia Krupinski at LKrupinski@anticruelty.org to set up an appointment wit the fosters to meet Maxine.
Maxine was adopted last night!
Thank you to all of the incredible people, from the police officer who rescued her, to the foster parent who facilitated her new adoption, who helped find Maxine her forever home.
